Ready to talk...

Ok so now I think it's time I explain. Our lives have changed a ton since November. Kelby got laid off in the middle of the month and all of the circumstances surrounding it have truly changed us forever. It has been a humbling experience. I know that there are so many people across the country experiencing the same thing as us right now. The financial struggle hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be, thanks to the amazing people of Enterprise (yeah, no more negative "only in Enterprise" comments). He has had so many people call with odd jobs for him to do. They have saved us. What has been hard are the rumors or questions of personal ethics and character made by people so close to us. I appreciate those that have stuck up for us or were "man" enough to come to us and ask what was going on. It's funny how small southern Utah is and how fast word gets back to you when someone is talking smack! I have decided that the sayings are true that say your true friends and family are the ones that are there for you during lifes hardest times. In a glass half full kind of way it has been such a blessing. It has been the push that we both have needed to really decide what we want to do for our futures. If this wouldn't have happened we probably would have stayed in our comfort zone forever and never tried anything else. It has taken almost this whole time but I can finally say I am grateful for this experience. Kelby is going to go back to school, it's kinda funny he only needs to take his test to become a commercial journeyman and now is going to start all over to do what he is really passionate about. I am looking forward to our future and have definitely been reminded how important it is to not talk about people and if I have a concern about someone I am close to just ask them if they are okay. Lesson learned..." If you can't say anything nice don't say nothing at all!"
